A fabulous pair of Art Deco-style fan earrings featuring a deep-purple oval cut amethyst held in a bezel mount at the top (approx. 0.70ct) with a fabulous fan-shaped gallery at the bottom dotted with an array of twinkling diamonds (approx. 0.14ct total).
Amethyst is the birthstone of February and is considered a stone of protection, clarity and tranquillity. Its deep violet colouring has been highly esteemed throughout history, adorning regal jewellery all around the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels.
The earrings are a union of 9ct white and yellow gold and fitted with secure butterfly-studs at the back complete with Birmingham hallmarks along the posts.
